So I am Hatarl on Emerald Dream, and starting a character on Gnomeragan.

Ok, so it's a temp job doing hospital records management, but it's full-time hours for a few months. Yay steady paycheck!

1:42am: Seven hour interview? WTF?

They took me on a full tour of the facility, explained the licensing procedures, the testing required, and introduced me to just about everybody who works in the reactor. I think it went well. The day ended on "We'll be in touch with you very shortly."

I hope I get this job. Full benefits (from day one, including vision and dental), double the pay I have ever recieved(for the first 6-12 months, then it goes up again), seven days off out of every 14(NOT seven on/seven off, just scattered).
"That,... would be AWESOME!"

2:51pm: Job search madness
Currently, I am in the running for FIVE jobs at Mizzou. My application passed the first Human Resources hurdle already, (for all five positions) and has been passed on to the hiring manager for consideration. (for each of the five positions) Is it too much to hope that I would get multiple employment offers from the same employer?

No.

I hope I get multiple employment offers from the same employer.

I think it would do some wonderful new things for my ego.

3:28pm: I AM ALIVE!!!!
I am sorry for worrying everyone. I was so tired last night that I forgot to call until I was almost at Union Station this morning. I figured Amy would be upset, but not worried, so I didn't want to use my grandmother's minutes. My sister didn't tell me she called Amy, so I didn't know that she was worried. The drive back took a lot longer than normal, since I had to fight rush hour in downtown K.C., and drive all the way south of Ozark to my grandmother's house (through construction, no less).

I hope no one completely freaked over me. I am alive and well. Thank you for worrying about me.

3:30pm: Random Update
So, I was trying to get into the habit of watching my weight and blood pressure. I started on the Slim Fast diet with Amy for a couple of months, and I started walking more.
Three weeks ago, I went to Taylor to check my weight and blood pressure. My BP was high.
Two weeks ago, I went back to Taylor. It was high again. The nurse consulted with a doctor and suggested that I make an appointment.
I had an appointment last week with a doctor, who suggested I get off the Slim Fast diet because it was having bad effects on my weight and blood pressure.
Then he ordered blood tests. That did not go well. Apparently I don't bleed correctly. They checked my cholesterol, blood sugar, thyroid, and everything else.
In the end, the doctor told me that I need to eat better and walk more.
Is it just me, or is that how I got into this mess?
